I know I haven’t been able to update this site for a while now. I’d like to apologize for that as I got my hands full of work. What’s interesting, when I opened this site, I was flooded with comments. Some negative and positive feedback from all my previous posts. Whatever it is that I say in here, I write it with what’s on my mind at that particular moment in time. I really thought of making this an avenue of writing but I think I spoke too soon. Since DST got back, my waking hours have gone an hour earlier. That means, I wake up at 3:45am. In the afternoon when I get home, I could hardly get a time to browse the net because living abroad means work-all-the-chores. Urgh!

I feel like it has been ages since I last posted in here. Sometimes it is difficult to keep track of my journals nowadays. After I got back from my short vacation, I was caught up with too much workload. Lack of manpower meant no room to slack off. This is the only time I got free to finally update my blog.

My vacation was a breather from working too much here in Singapore. Too bad my vacation wasn’t all that good to me. There was an on-going typhoon and my, I was locked for a day in the house doing absolutely nothing. But it was alright, I took advantage of it and rested instead.

What intrigued me most was about the prices of commodities that have gone high. The prices I left a year ago doubled in rates. Gosh, it is so depressing. We’re really going into the deep rather than surface. I am only a small voice but I wish it is not yet too late to save our country from total political disaster. What the heck, it’s all up to each one of us to really save ourselves from poverty.

But despite the hopeless economic growth of the Philippines, I still love to go back and live the rest of my life there. There is no better place than it. I love how crazy it is. Sigh…

So, Britney after all is still a trend. She hasnt really been out of the limelight. A proof to this are her fans who never got tired of her despite the controversies she’s been, talk about loyalty.

I personally like her dance moves. Oh well, I love to dance so I guess my reason for liking her is alright. *winks*

The recent Video Music Awards (VMA) was held last Sunday but I’m so unlucky to come across any video of her performance in youtube and dailymotion. I’m curious to see how she did it. I wanted to see how she recovered from her last year floppy performance. Can someone provide me a link please?

Based on reports, she bagged three moonman including her single “Piece of Me” … the song where it has Philippines on its lyrics. I wonder why she even chose Philippines? Was it just to rhyme? Well, I hope not. hehe because Philippines is truly a nice place to getaway.

Anyways, Britney still rocks! hehe

I have been very itchy to click the “apply” button everytime I see a very interesting job opening online. There have been several attempts. But something inside me just holds me back. I know that it would be an emotion overload should I be tempted to hit the button.

I’ve been contemplating a lot lately. Will I finish or leave soon before the end of my contract? Sometimes there are pitfalls in our lives where we feel like we’ve had enough of what we’re doing and needs a new thing for a change. Moments where we blankly stare at nothing yet thinking deeply. Maybe I need to give it a little more patience at work. I honestly don’t have any complains on the job God had bestowed on me. But the people around us are factors that makes us vulnerable.

Despite my uncertainty, I will still stand up and face life as it is. Besides, God is good all the time.

Season Premiere Overload - Update

Gossip Girl with a bang! Gosh, I missed the casts. The season premiere was very classy, set in the Hamptons. Aaw, everyone was pretty much in the premiere. I was expecting a longer, 2-hour run time of the episode though. Too bad it was short, or maybe my source wasn’t able to record it all? I gotta check on that. Hehe

Anyways, Nate is having a steamy yet restricted relationship with an older married woman. While Chuck is dying of jealousy over the Lord guy of Queen B. And of course the typical romance between Dan and Serena is back. So much to look forward on the coming episodes. XOXO!

Prison Break is now Prison Out. The lead stars are now out of prison. Truly an amazing twist of story to begin with. Sara Tancredi is alive. Sadly, she doesn’t look that pleasing. Well, let’s just blame that to her role that’s why she looks awful. I think she grew older after giving birth? I noticed some wrinkles. Anyway, Whistler on the other hand was assassinated by the Company after trying to seek help from Scofield on turning them down. Remember the pocket birds book Whistler possessed in Season 3? Well, it has a very significant role in this season. It has information to help decode the Scylla, the so-called black book of the Company. Whistler was a good guy after all. He was a freelance undercover agent tracking down the Company. He and Gretchen worked together to retrieve Scylla. But then after Gretchen failed to retrieve the correct Scylla (Whistler had it duplicated and gave Gretchen the faux copy) the Company killed her. However, I’m not a hundred percent convinced that Gretchen is totally out. We’ll see in the next episodes. PB has a brand new mission. It’s nice to know that they’re out in the open. They were bailed in lieu to turning down the Company. Can’t wait for next Monday. Don’t fail to watch. And ooops, sorry for the spoilers if you haven’t seen it …oh and the photo is for season 3. I miss you my Scofield. Haha!

US Close for Ana

I was saddened to see results of the on-going US Open 2008. At first I was so thrilled to watch this year’s grand slam. But then I was disappointed finding out that Ana Ivanovic was out on the 2nd round defeated by a 188th seed French player named Julie Coin. Gosh, what a shame. A lot of media people claimed her to be the Number One player but this had disproved the claim. Poor Ana. Well, it’s not yet the end my dear. Prove all the people wrong. I hope that the experience could challenge you to be a better athlete. That’s life, shit happens. We win some, we lose some. Sigh!

I Smell Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl Season 2 premiere is just around the corner. And I am dying to know the juicy gossips they have in store for their avid fans like moi. This is gonna be a fun-filled show again as ever. Wahooo! I’ll have a back-to-back view of my bestest series, that of GG and Prison Break. Darn, I missed them.

I’ve started to get hooked with watching series since Party of Five Days way back. Gee, I realised it was that freakin’ long time ago, eh? Well, it’s the time that aged, definitely not me. haha!

Cheers to all GG and PB fans out there! They’re back!

Goodbye Olympics, Hello US Open

Olympics kicked off with a big bang and ended gracefully with a bigger bang. It was indeed another history for Asian people to be recognized by other continents. Congratulations to everyone. Although I don’t have that much of high spirits. Why? it’s because Philippines did not get any medal. Whoah! Gone were the days when we had a few. If singing and dancing would have been a sport, Philippines may well have a chance. haha! Too bad that it isn’t. Well, that’s life. Suck it up!

Anyway, the US Open is just a few hours away from its opening. Wee! Another international event to watch. I’ve been a fan of tennis since Stefi and Pete’s era. I can’t wait to see this major tournament to begin. I’d see the equally beautiful, handsome and talented players again after the recent Wimbledon where Rafa Nadal outplayed his ever opponent Roger Federrer.

To all tennis fans out there, may our players win. Go Nadal!

It’s the day

It’s our 63rd month together with my boyfriend today. That’s 5 years and 3 months. And it’s as if we’re still new. I hope that we’d stay and keep the love into a smooth drive for a long time. I couldn’t ask more from God for giving me such a loving man. When my mom passed away, he stood by me during my grief .And up till now, he is the only reason of my sanity. Love you so much.
